Padovan Taylo and Taylo Lux

Rotary Drum Vacuum Filters (R.D.V.'s)

TMCI Padovan has developed a patented "tilting trough" system in its' Taylo Lux series, enabling higher throughputs and variable drum immersion. This allows the blade to be placed directly above the level of the liquid to be filtered, thereby reducing the amount of surface exposed to the air, and also increasing the distance with which the filtration surface can "dry".

These vacuum filters can be used with either diatomaceous earth or perlite as a precoat. Other features of these filters include:

- Adjustable blade advancement, as well as a variable speed drive to control drum rotation,

- Automatic level-controlled valve for precoat and product feed,

- Compact design, consisting of stainless steel construction,

- Separate extraction tank, with a static defoaming device,

- Automatic extraction pump,

- Stainless steel mixing tank, with agitator to continuously mix the precoat,

- AISI 316 stainless steel filtering cloth,

- IP55 Control board.

The Taylo Lux range of filters (tilting trough) are available in sizes ranging from 3 to 20 square metres of filtration area, with the Taylo range (fixed trough) being available from 30 to 70 square metres.
